In 1953/4 the Dockyard Sea Scouts used to 'Camp' on the M/LS at weekends and they leaked like a sieve when it rained - left one boat after a 'Camp' and it was blowing a gale and the Coxswain of the Launch taking us ashore hit every Bouy in the Creek - well it felt like it - pretty scary - think it was after Tot Time!
