Did these flats used to be Egmont Close. Near S. Ignatious Junction St Julians?

No these are further down the road on Sur Fons Street. Egmont Close has been completely demolished and rebuilt as luxury apartments here.

These flats are on the corner of Sur Fons and Prince of Wales St. Called Anobat Flats after the owner Mr TABONA (backwards) We were the first occupants in no 6 top back C1960. Prince of Wales Street became Triq Manwel Dimoch and runs from Sliema front to Balluta Bay.
