Any moment...scrunch!.....ooops, sorry! Left hand down a bit.

The vessel overtaking must keep clear of the vessel being overtaken. Size has nothing to do with it - in theory!!

In Theory, maybe not in Malta, but seeing as the fishermen are stationary they are not going to move. Entance to Tigne Caves at foot of steps still open I see. Hope it will be in Sept - bigger torch this time.

That tunnel entrance was at the corner of the disused swimming pool as I recall. I also remember finding our way into the tower and finding loads of wooden 'rifles'. Those steps must be new; I do not remember them at all.
Prefect   [May 16, 2011 at 12:04 AM]
The steps were part of the original fort. Must have been removed at some stage and are now restored.

I remember the steps, a quick hop over the wall in front of the Naafi.
Prefect   [May 28, 2011 at 01:47 AM]
I thought the Naafi fronted on to the parade ground?

Not in our day, but your book showed it was different in the 1800s? Previous discussion under Tigne Barracks refers. Now why did I ask you to do the link for the last pic when I'm clever enough? You never know til you try. Should've listened to Miss.
