This brings back wonderful memories. Our MQ block was the first on the left. What a wonderful sight to see when the fleet were in. I used to sit outside on the veranda with my father who used to say we had a million pound view. How right he was.

How right he was. We were in the same block as you; our veranda was the top one on the far right (to the left of the boat house). All of those destroyers and frigates lit up at night was a wonderful sight.
