We stayed in the Plevna for about a month in Nov 1964 when we first arrived in Malta until we found a flat in Balluta. 1977 and my new wffe and I spent our honeymoon there.

Same with us: on arrival (1947) we were in the Plevna in an annexe. Peter Tabone was doing well out of the Dockyard. We then had a flat in Sliema (Stella Maris St), just up a bit from Meadowbank.
