Only the taller block was being built, I lived in the smaller building. The front opened out into the bus square.

I went to Verdala when I lived in Birzebbuga. My brother Daryl Cornner went to Tal-Handaq. (Oliver) We later lived in Tigne Barracks. When you say the 'family club', do you mean Kalafrana?

We lived in Birzebbuga from May 1971 to January 1972. My Dad was in the Navy. We lived in NO:4 Shangri-La flats (in the photo) for a few months , then we moved to a flat up behind the church. Do you remember the cinema? I saw a few Dracula films there. We also used to go to a few bars (The Labour Club, The one in the bus square) and play table football. My brother was in the first and second year at Tal-Handaq and I was in year 3 and 4 at Verdala. Where were St.Paul's Flats?

st paul's flats was just across from the church at the top of the hill, i to was in the frist year of tal-handqa and yes i did go to the cinema the frist horror film i saw was a Dracula and also when to a few bar's. play the pinball machines, table football with a coke or 7 up . we two left in january 1972 and when to cyprus.

I lived at No 1 Shangri La Flats ( bottom left as you look in the picture). We were there 1966-1968.Dad was in 38 Sqdn at Luqa, and I went to Tal Handaq in 1967.
