Is this the moat on the left of the entrance to Tigne? There was a house on the corner of the moat we used to pick grapes from. climbing down into the moat we found indoor firing ranges.

The dry moat round the Cambridge Battery - yes. The GOC's house and his Deputy's were the ones - now gone - and occupied by squatters in 1996 when I went. See also comments under Marsamxett Ferry postcard - would Prefect be kind enough to do a link pls? Grazzi hafna xbien.
