Where was Gunwharf, recall the name and we used to call in there. At one time there used to be a number of big gun barrels stored on the quay adjacent to St. Angelo entrance, but don't think that is in the picture.

Not sure. Modern chart and B&C page 226 show Gun Wharf (WD - Army) being in Floriana where the passenger terminal now is but there was also a "Gun Mounting Wharf" in French Creek next to Boiler Wharf which is probably this pic.

Don't remember going over Floriana side, huh!!, so guess you have it right as being in French Creek.

On the right looks like the base of the 160 Ton Crane which puts it at Somerset Wharf so perhaps it isnt officially Gunwharf after all! ... renamed Somerset.
