No, my wife wouldnt go! Anyway I remember the real thing and that was bad enough.

I lived just round the corner for four years - felt safe three floors up! We had some good laughs at times listening to the drunken sailors!

I used to knock around with some marine bandsmen. A clarinet player called Pete Lloyd took me to an establishment called 'The Cotton Club' where I played the drums. I was sixteen. My Mum had no idea.....
