Valletta Ferry Landing

Postcard, probably 1950s.
The roof has lost its canopy and is no longer advertising Portsmouth United which was a beer.

Sometime mid to late fifties, O Great Inquisitor, and certainly by 1959 by which time the landing pontoon wasn't there at either end. It started in 1882 and has recently restarted, mainly for the benefit of tourists. See new pic in Transport.
