A (vivid) memory of Mdina452 viewsThis is Casa Mdina, Wesgha Ta’ Sant’ Agata, Mdina. This is where our Eng Lit master lived. He invited his Upper 6th class one evening for a literary soiree (his phrase, not mine), and whilst readings were being delivered to and by the guests I recall having a cosy time on this balcony with a young lady. My Eng Lit A-level grade was not good…Ivan12/21/14 at 19:54Martin Powell: That master being Mr (Bill) Alexander. From your d...

SS Uganda (Not)660 viewsIn 1973 this ship was used for Tal Handaq school trips to Greece etc. my girlfriend was on board at the time as I waited for her to come back (hence the picture). Apparently the girls were chased back to the ship in Greece because of their attire (hot pants and mini skirts). The ship was scrapped in the 1980s but I guess memories live on! fifla197311/20/14 at 10:42fifla1973: Oh sorry about that I always thought it was called...
