The Point459 viewsNew shopping mall at Tigne.
At least some attempt has been made to preserve its military origins!
The car park underneath is the only place you can hope to find a space these days, at a price.
"Also complete is the football ground on top of The Point, which is due to be handed over, after all the legal certification and paperwork is finished, to Sliema Wanderers, as was promised in the Midi contract with the government."

The transfer includes docks 4, 5, 6 and 7. The Cospicua shipyard was sold for €90.6 million. Palumbo will be paying €18 million upfront followed by €72.6 million in rent over 30 years."
(Docks 2 & 3 for yacht repair are still up for sale.)

The Famous Inscription333 views"The Love of the Maltese and the Voice of Europe confirm these Islands to Great and Invincible Britain, A.D. 1814."
But, it seems there was a typo when it was re-cut in 1851. The last word should be CONFIRMANT (plural).
