Making Tracks

In September 1956 families enjoying the sun at Military Bay (now Golden Bay) are seemingly unconcerned by the landing craft sharing the beach. The vehicles are LVT-3s, known to their British users as the Buffalo, and their crews are training for the invasion of Suez.
