Mrs Smedley taught at Verdala.

A close relative of Mr Smedley is seeking any more information about this tragic incident. If anyone has any, I will pass it on.

Shark attack on Mr Smedley, who was a teacher at H.M.Dockyard Technical College, Senglea, was between the outside points in St Thomas Bay. He was in the company of one his students, who could very well be still living in Zejtun. Discarded tram hulks once littered the St Thomas Bay foreshore.
