This must have been after it came back from America where it went for repairs after the bombing of Jan '41

Yes, she was operational again by March 1942, and served with the Eastern Fleet. After another refit in early 43 she returned to the Med in September for Salerno.

It was even quicker. The refit in Norfolk Va. was done by October 41 but unfortunately she then had a collision with Formidable whilst returning to UK. Full story here.
