Gharry at Casa Leone ca. 1960

Everything (well, nearly everything!) was carried in karrozzin in those days. Is it just tourists now?! I'd written on the slide that this was at 'Fleur de Lis' - but I can't remember where that is, can anyone tell me?

Yes, Fleur de Lis roundabout is at "the far end of Hamrun" on the Rabat road where you turn right for Birkirkara (or left for Qormi & Tal Handaq).. Not sure if that makes sense, I'll find a new photo and maybe a map.

Thanks Martin, yes I did. But it's had a bit of tweaking recently and the previously drunken doorways are now vertical! I'm becoming a dab hand at tweaking photos!
